6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby registered a goal, an assist and a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was his fifth multi-point performance across the past eight outings, and he now has five goals, 19 points and an even rating in 13 games in the month of February. If you like to nitpick, he did win just eight of his 19 faceoffs (42.1 percent). He and forward Jared McCann (two goals) shined on a night the team needed plenty of offense with two defensemen (Kris Letang and Brian Dumoulin) missing due to injury.--Daniel Dobish
