6 years agoLos Angeles Angels relief pitcher Ty Buttrey (knee) is being shut down for the remainder of the season due to a recurrence of knee bursitis. Buttrey struggled in his last two outings, but he had really proven himself in high-leverage situations for the Angels in his 16 outings, posting a 3.31 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 11.0 K/9 and four saves. He will be an option for an important bullpen role in 2019 for the Angels and will be a sleeper for saves.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
