4 years agoSeattle Mariners infielder Ty France (wrist) could be activated from the injured list as soon as Monday, according to Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. Manager Scott Servais said that France "has a good chance" of being activated sometime during the upcoming series with Oakland, and it could be as soon as Monday's series opener. France landed on the injured list with a wrist injury on May 14, although it's possible this injury could have dated back to when he was hit by a pitch on the wrist on April 19, seeing as he struggled with a .096 average and .332 OPS following the hit by pitch. He was off to a hot start at the plate this year, slashing .289/.386/.464 with three home runs, 13 RBI and 18 runs scored in the month of April. Hopefully this stint on the IL will be enough to help him get back into that early season groove.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
