2 years agoSeattle Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto said on his radio show that first baseman Ty France (elbow) will be back this weekend and could return from the injured list as early as Thursday night against the Toronto Blue Jays. France has been out since late June after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 flexor strain of his left elbow, but he will be back at some point this weekend. The 27-year-old is having the best season of his career with a .316/.390/.476 slash line with an .867 OPS, 10 home runs, 45 RBI and 32 runs scored in 311 plate appearances over 70 games. He'll return as Seattle's everyday first baseman, and he's proven to be a must-start in fantasy in 2022. France didn't go on a minor league rehab assignment, so hopefully he can pick up where he left off in Seattle before his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
