3 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Ty France was the lone bright spot for the Mariner offense Tuesday, as he went 2-for-4 with an RBI. France has quietly been excellent over the last month or so, slashing .279/.359/.486 with five home runs over his last 30 days. France doesn't stand out in any one particular category and offers nothing in terms of steals, but he's still a solid floor play in most formats. He has a very advantageous lineup spot batting fourth for Seattle, and he's a worthwhile add for any managers needing an infield plug-in.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
