3 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Ty France had three hits in four at-bats Sunday, including his ninth home run of the season, a three-run shot off of Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Patrick Sandoval. He also singled twice, scored another run, and was hit in the ear flap by a pitch. He stayed in the game, and appeared to be no worse for wear, though he surely is tired of getting plunked, with 15 on the season. France has been excellent over his last 30 games, with six home runs and a .321/.378/.536 slash line. Fantasy managers may still be able to add the versatile infielder off waivers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
