Ty France Leaves With Arm Injury
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Seattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (arm) left the game early on Thursday against the Oakland Athletics with what looked like a left arm injury. France needed help getting up and was avoiding his left arm after a throw from the third baseman sailed up the line, causing his left arm to collide with the baserunner. France has been great for fantasy managers so far this year, as he came into Thursday's game hitting .319/.393/.480 with an .873 OPS, 10 home runs, 45 RBI and 32 runs scored in 273 at-bats, so we'll be holding our breath that his arm injury doesn't cause him to miss extended time. Dylan Moore entered the game to replace France at first base, and he could see some more playing time there if France is forced to miss any games.
