4 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Ty France went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Starting at first base against left-handed starter Madison Bumgarner, France recorded his first round-tripper of the year in the third frame against reliever Taylor Widener. In limited duty, the 26-year-old is slashing .250/.280/.417 with eight runs-plus-RBI in 25 plate appearances.
