2 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (wrist) is back at first base and is hitting second on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres and right-hander Yu Darvish. France didn't start the series finale on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves due to a left wrist injury, but he's back in there after the off day on Monday. The first-time All-Star has been great in 2022 with 18 home runs, 71 RBI and 52 runs scored in 469 at-bats, but he's slowed down of late and has gone just 8-for-40 (.200) with two home runs, five RBI, four runs scored and six strikeouts in 10 games so far in the month of September. The 28-year-old is returning to a tough matchup versus Darvish as well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
