5 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Ty France finished 2-for-5 with a homer, three RBI and two runs on Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. France cracked a three-run blast in the sixth inning, his third long ball in two contests. The two-game power surge has raised his OPS from .607 to .690 and homer total to five. France obliterated Triple-A this season, slashing .399/.477/.770 with 27 homers but has been streaky in his 150 big league appearances. Getting daily reps at second base, France will have a shot to prove his long-term worth. With minimal prospect hype and no track record, France is just a DFS dart throw.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
