2 years agoTy Gibbs is getting more and more comfortable with the Next-Gen car at the highest level of NASCAR. He starts Richmond in 14th on Sunday and if the Toyotas run well later in the race as expected, that might benefit Gibbs. In his Xfinity days, the driver of the No. 45 car ran well enough as they say. He could lurk close to the top ten on Sunday. Getting lessons and advice from the Busch's and even Denny Hamlin cannot hurt here for Gibbs. Again, cautions at Richmond can be somewhat of an equalizer but Gibbs is learning and that is beneficial for him more than anything. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
