Ty Johnson Barely Involved In Week 11
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Ty Johnson has seen an increased role on the team over the last few weeks. He is being used in the receiving game, but gets a few carries as well. However, Johnson was barely seen at all during the Week 11 matchup with the Miami Dolphins. He rushed one time for five yards and hauled in one reception for eight yards in the loss. It's quite odd that Johnson didn't see more action in this game. Rookie running back Michael Carter (ankle) exited with an ankle issue and didn't return. Usually, that would mean more carries for Johnson, but veteran back Tevin Coleman was asked to step up. Both Johnson and Coleman could be looking at increased roles if Carter misses time. Johnson might have some low-end flex value in PPR formats next week, but it depends on Carter's status.
