3 years agoNew York Jets running back Ty Johnson has not been a trustworthy fantasy option this season. However, he has put together some PPR value over the last two games. The Jets have been using Johnson in the receiving game and it gave him a bit of a lift in PPR formats. Although, the loss of quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) might change the way the Jets operate on offense. Michael Carter is the clear lead back, so Johnson and Tevin Coleman take care of the backups duties. It's uncertain how much Johnson will be involved in the Week 8 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Fantasy managers should avoid Johnson if possible for this contest.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
