Ty Montgomery Finally Makes Contribution
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back/wide receiver Ty Montgomery had a season-high 51 rushing yards on eight carries in Sunday's 34-17 victory over the Raiders. He added three receptions for 16 yards. It marked his first opportunity to make a real contribution for the Ravens as he totaled just five yards, which came on a lateral from quarterback Lamar Jackson, in his debut last week. The 25-year-old ran well as he produced 6.4 yards per attempt, which included a long of 15 yards. While it was nice to see the fourth-year pro get involved in the offense, don't expect him to be much of a factor down the stretch especially with Gus Edwards running well and touchdown sensation Alex Collins (foot) likely to return soon.
