6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Ty Montgomery was happy to be at his first practice with his new team on Wednesday. “It’s been beautiful,” Montgomery said. “I’ve been a little sleep-deprived, traveling, coming in, trying to fit in the meetings, but it’s been beautiful. Transition has been smooth so far, and I’m glad to be here.” Montgomery, of course, was traded by the Packers after fumbling a key kickoff return late in the game. The fourth-year dual-threat back who averaged 4.8 yards per carry with the Pack this year will be officially listed as a WR/RB. While he may be active for Week 9's game against the Steelers, his exact role on the team is unclear at this point.--Daniel Benjamin
