3 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Tyler Alexander is set to start on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Alexander has made 37 appearances, 11 of which were starts, for the Tigers this season. The left-hander has pitched to a 4.09 ERA and a 4.50 FIP in 83.2 innings with 71 strikeouts and 21 walks. In his last start, Alexander allowed five hits, two walks, and an earned run in 4.1 innings against the same Rays team he'll face on Thursday. He could have some streaming appeal, but only in deeper leagues against a Tampa Bay team that has scored the most runs in baseball.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
