Tyler Anderson Completes Five Innings Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson provided five strong innings against the New York Yankees Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks. He struck out four in the no-decision. Anderson has now completed five innings in each and every one of his 20 starts this season, though he has only completed seven innings once. He's remarkably consistent, but his 4.35 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 93 strikeouts in 113 2/3 innings are all unremarkable. He's not much of a fantasy play.
