Tyler Anderson Goes Seven Strong In Loss
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson went seven strong innings Saturday, allowing three runs on eight hits and no walks to the Kansas City Royals. He struck out six batters. Despite the solid showing, Anderson was handed his ninth loss of the season. Anderson has now delivered a quality start in two of his last three outings, and he's gone at least five innings in every start this year. He's a classic high-floor low-ceiling option for the deepest fantasy leagues with his 4.06 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 111 strikeouts 137 1/3 innings.
