2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Anderson improved to 9-1 on the season as his club defeated the Padres 7-2 on Saturday night. The left-hander struck out six and allowed one run over 6 1/3 innings while scattering six hits and two walks in the 97-pitch effort. Anderson now owns a sharp 3.09 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with 73 K through 84 1/3 IP so far in his age-32 breakout season. It's clear the Dodgers have unlocked something with Anderson and he should continue to be rolled out in starting lineups as he looks ahead to a favorable matchup with the Cubs next week.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
