3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Tyler Anderson allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four over 6 2/3 innings of work in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Tuesday night. It was his fifth quality start in 14 appearances this season, as he's now 3-7 with a 4.82 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings of work. He's been inconsistent on the mound this year, but when he has a favorable matchup he can put up solid numbers.
