Tyler Anderson Solid In Mariners Debut
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson pitched well in his team debut, allowing three runs on six hits and no walks in 5 1/3 innings against the Texas Rangers. He struck out three batters and allowed one home run. He took a no-decision in the 5-4 extra-inning loss. This start was standard fare for Anderson, who is decent and reliable with a 4.39 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 89 strikeouts in 108 2/3 innings on the season. There isn't enough upside for him to be on fantasy rosters except in the deepest of leagues.
