Tyler Anderson Spins Seven Scoreless Innings Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Anderson spun seven scoreless frames on Thursday as his club routed the Rockies 13-0. He gave up just four hits on the night while striking out four and walking no one, tossing 94 pitches in the victory to improve his record to 11-1. The Dodgers were up 6-0 after two innings and 11-0 after four, so the left-hander was able top put it into cruise control in this one, and he sits with a terrific 2.61 ERA and 0.99 WHIP on the year. 2022 has been a remarkable turnaround for the 32-year-old in his first year in LA as he sets his sights on his upcoming matchup with the Giants next week.
