Tyler Anderson Stifles The Rangers Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson had his strongest outing since joining the team on Tuesday, going six innings and only giving up one run on three hits and no walks to the Texas Rangers. He struck out four batters and earned his sixth win of the season. Anderson has brought some much-needed stability to the Seattle rotation, as he is still carrying a season-long streak of consecutive starts of at least five innings. With a 4.10 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 101 strikeouts in 125 innings, he's no fantasy ace, but he's a very safe option in leagues that reward innings pitched and quality starts.
