4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Tyler Anderson improved to 2-2 on the year Wednesday, as he allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven in five innings of work. Anderson has been somewhat inconsistent through his first four starts — posting a 3.92 ERA over 20 2/3 innings of work — but he's been racking up the strikeouts at a good clip with a 20.9 percent strikeout rate. In NL-only leagues he's a solid streaming option when he has a good matchup, and he should do well in his next scheduled outing against the Royals.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
