Tyler Anderson Thrashed Saturday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson had his worst outing of the season Saturday, and it could not have come at a worse time for the team. Anderson allowed nine runs on nine hits and one walk in two innings against the Los Angeles Angels, failing to strike out a single batter. The loss dropped his record to 7-10, and his ERA ballooned to 4.46. Anderson is normally a safe fantasy option, but he lacks the upside to be a difference-maker. He should be left on the sidelines in all but the most desperate of situations.
