Tyler Austin Makes Presence Felt In Debut
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Tyler Austin made his team debut Monday night against the San Diego Padres, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored while batting out of the two-hole of manager Bruce Bochy's lineup. Austin showed some good pop last season in Minnesota, and the Giants apparently like him enough to move Brandon Belt into left field, at least for Monday. If you take a chance on him in NL-only fantasy leagues, know that he did strike out 95 times across 268 plate appearances, although he made it through Monday's game without any whiffs.
