4 years agoChicago Cubs right-handed pitcher Tyler Chatwood will incur a stint on the 10-day injured list after having left his start Sunday against Cincinnati due to a right elbow ailment. The club is optimistic that Chatwood will return at some point in 2020, although he will miss at least a few starts. Jose Quintana is the likeliest candidate to take over in the starting rotation, although Colin Rea could stake a claim as well. Chatwood, who owns a 5.30 ERA this season, can be left on the wire until a timeline is established for his return to the mound.--Jesse Borek
