3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks pitcher Tyler Clippard (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Tuesday. He was shut down earlier in the season with a capsule sprain in his right shoulder. The 36-year-old also underwent a "small knee procedure" in May. Clippard has to pitch this season and will require a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. He owned a 2.77 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and a 26:4 K: BB across 26 innings for the Twins in 2020. Clippard is trending in the right direction but currently has no timetable for a return.
