Tyler Eifert Healthy Going Into Week 1
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert has made it through the preseason without suffering any setbacks recovering from the injury that ended his 2018 season. Seattle Seahawks strong safety Bradley McDougald should cover Eifert during their Week 1 matchup, but it's yet to be seen if McDougald is fully back to himself after going through offseason surgery to repair a partially torn patellar tendon. Regardless of McDougald's health, Eifert, who stands 6'6" has a significant height advantage on McDougald who stands 6'1". Combined with the Bengals lack of receiving depth, this gives Eifert a solid chance to see red zone targets and possibly score a touch down in Week 1. If you didn't acquire one of the top tight ends in your fantasy draft, Eifert is a decent Week 1 streaming option for deep leagues.
