7 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert's (back) status remains up in the air for the start of training camp this week. “Hopefully Tyler Eifert can come back and be a factor for us,” director of player personnel Duke Tobin said. “I can’t predict the future on that one, but I can testify to the fact that he made a difference when he was up and running for us. We know what he can do if he can get back to that level. I know his full intent is to get back to that level. We’ll see if he can." Eifert has missed 22 of his 32 games with injuries, so he's obviously off the fantasy radar right now. But when he's been healthy, he's been a touchdown machine. He's worth a gamble as a late-round flier in deeper leagues to see if he can stay healthy and score touchdowns again, but you shouldn't be holding your breath.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
