5 years agoTampa Bay starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow had a successful first rehab appearance on Friday and is now on track to return to the majors within the next week. It was a short rehab for Glasnow, getting three quick outs on just eight pitches while walking one. Manager Kevin Cash says that Glasnow's next rehab appearance will be on Monday, with plans to have Glasnow rejoin the big club 4-5 days after that if there are no setbacks. Glasnow was in the middle of a breakout year before the injury but will be returning as a long-reliever, limiting his fantasy value. But pitching like he was earlier in the year, Glasnow could hold value as a multiple-inning reliever or opener, particularly for teams battling in head-to-head category playoffs.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
