Tyler Glasnow Looks To Avoid Sweep
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow will take the mound Sunday to avoid a sweep by the Red Sox. Glasnow has been phenomenal so far this year, posting a 4-0 record, 1.13 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 24 innings. Despite his success thus far, fantasy owners should use caution when deciding to start or sit him Sunday against the Red Sox. The Sox have taken the past two games, putting up six runs in each. In Glasnow’s only start against Boston in 2018, he let up four earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings. He should be a good source of strikeouts, but there’s risk to hurting ratios if trying to chase wins and quality starts.
