5 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day Injured List Sunday. The move is a disappointment to fantasy owners as there were reports last week that Glasnow was progressing nicely and beginning to throw tennis balls while rehabbing his forearm injury. Now, Glasnow won't even be eligible to return until after the All-Star break. The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for relief pitcher Oliver Drake. Glasnow was having a career year before going on the IL with a 1.86 ERA backed up by a 2.19 FIP and a strikeout rate over 30 percent.
