4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out seven in four innings of work Wednesday, as he earned the win over the Pirates. It was his second straight outing with seven strikeouts, as he now has 17 strikeouts over 9 2/3 innings this spring. Glasnow has high strikeout upside coming off a career-high 38.2 percent strikeout rate in 2020, but he has only posted a sub-4.00 ERA once in his major league career when he recorded a 1.78 ERA in 2019. That strikeout upside still makes him a high-end fantasy pitcher, but managers might want to keep an eye on his schedule and potentially sit him in unfavorable matchups.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
