Tyler Glasnow Throws Another Live BP Session

2 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow (elbow) threw another live batting practice session with Triple-A Durham on Sunday and is expected to throw another live BP session on Wednesday before embarking on a minor league rehab assignment. Glasnow signed a two-year, $30 million contract extension with the Rays over the weekend as well. The 29-year-old threw around 23 pitches on Sunday. He had Tommy John surgery on Aug. 4 of last year and is expected to make his 2022 debut for Tampa at some point in September. However, fantasy managers in single-year leagues shouldn't be paying much attention, as Glasnow is expected to be eased into a bullpen role down the stretch.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
