5 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm) threw a bullpen session Thursday afternoon as he gets closer to returning from a flexor strain in his pitching arm. Glasnow has been on the injured list since May 11 but appears close to making a few starts for the Rays down the stretch. Manager Kevin Cash said he is unsure if Glasnow will make a rehab start in the minor league playoffs, or if they will ease up his pitch count by using him as part of a bullpen day in the Majors. Either way, Glasnow needs to be stashed in fantasy leagues as he pitched to a 1.86 ERA with a 2.31 FIP in 48 1/3 innings pitched earlier this season and could make an impact in the fantasy playoffs.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
