3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (elbow) has opted to go through rehab and avoid surgery for his partially torn UCL, according to Joey Johnston of the Tampa Bay Times. Johnston reports that Glasnow is hoping for a return in time for a potential playoff appearance, and possibly even sooner than that. While that's good new for the Rays, this is terrible news for fantasy managers, as it pretty much drops his value to zero for the rest of the season. Managers with an extra slot in head-to-head leagues can consider hanging onto Glasnow for now in case he's able to get back in time for a start in the fantasy playoffs, but for the majority of managers Glasnow can now be dropped.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
