2 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow (ankle, elbow) will throw what will likely be his final bullpen session on Tuesday before he begins facing live hitters on Aug. 20. Glasnow is working his way back from Tommy John surgery in August of last year, and he also had arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies from his right ankle on March 18. "The chance is not zero. Let's say that much," pitching coach Kyle Snyder said when asked if Glasnow might pitch this season. The 28-year-old has been throwing bullpen sessions for more than a month, so he's ready to take the next step. Glasnow still has plenty of hurdles to clear, though, before the Rays feel comfortable activating him from the 60-day injured list. If Glasnow does return in 2022, he's unlikely to have enough time to make much of a fantasy impact.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
