3 years agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee), who was injured in the NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, appears to have avoided any significant damage, according to a source. However, his availability for the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals in two weeks is up in the air and will be decided over the next two weeks. Higbee hobbled off the field early in the first half and never returned to the game after catching two of his three targets for 18 yards. In the two previous playoff games, he had seven catches on 11 targets for 97 yards for the Rams. With Higbee injured, Kendall Blanton stepped up for the Rams and caught all five of his targets for 57 yards in the win over the 49ers. Blanton had only four catches for 37 yards in 11 regular season games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
