Tyler Kroft Reaches Agreement With 49ers
3 years agoFormer New York Jets and Buffalo Bills tight end Tyler Kroft reached an agreement on an undisclosed one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, according to his agent, Mike McCartney. Kroft will serve as tight end depth behind George Kittle alongside Charlie Woerner and Ross Dwelley. He spent last year with the Jets, catching 16 of 25 targets for 173 yards and one touchdown in nine games (six starts). The 29-year-old tight end has only played a full season in two of his seven NFL seasons and has gone over 200 receiving yards in a season just once, back in 2017 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He has 101 career receptions for 1,024 yards and 13 touchdowns in 81 career games. Kroft will only become fantasy relevant if Kittle misses time with an injury.
