Tyler Kroft Shuffling Off To Buffalo For Three Years
6 years agoThe Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with free-agent tight end Tyler Kroft (Bengals) on a three-year deal worth $18.75 million, a source said Monday. The entire deal could be worth a total of $21 million. Kroft had his 2018 campaign cut short by a broken bone in his foot, but he should be ready for training camp and the preseason and he is expected to challenge for the starting job after Charles Clay was released and the team did not re-sign Logan Thomas. He posted 42 receptions for 404 yards and seven touchdowns in 2017 with the Bengals, his best season as a pro. At this point he is a low-end TE2, but keep an eye on him and see how he jells with Josh Allen in the preseason. Kroft could be a nice fantasy sleeper in deeper leagues.
