3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons hosted free-agent tight end Tyler Kroft on a visit on Friday. As things currently stand, tight end Kyle Pitts is Atlanta's top pass-catcher of any kind, so the Falcons could certainly use some more bodies for 2022 with Calvin Ridley suspended all season and Russell Gage moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency. The Falcons should continue to run a lot of two-tight end sets, so Kroft could see the field often if he signs with Atlanta. However, Hayden Hurst wasn't exactly fantasy relevant next to Pitts last year, even with the team hurting for offensive weapons. Kroft, 29, has never topped 404 receiving yards, 62 receptions or seven touchdowns in a single season in seven NFL seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
