3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett bounced back a bit in Week 5, but you should temper expectations for him in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and moving forward. Lockett will be playing with quarterback Geno Smith this week after playing his entire career with quarterback Russell Wilson (finger), who went on Injured Reserve. Lockett is unlikely to have the same downfield chemistry with Smith, and that dramatically limits his ceiling, with all three of his touchdowns this season being 23 yards or longer. Smith spread the ball out pretty evenly last week, and Lockett saw the most targets (four), although there were multiple pass-catchers with at least two targets. The Steelers have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts, but this passing attack will be much less explosive under Smith. Lockett sees enough volume to be in the conversation every week, but you should temper your expectations for him this week as more of a WR3/flex with a much lower floor.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
