Tyler Mahle Allows Three Runs In Loss To St. Louis
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle allowed three runs across three innings of work in a 6-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Mahle struck out five and walked two on the way to picking up his first loss of the season. The Sunday outing goes in the books as his least effective start of the season. Overall, Mahle has a 4.41 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts across 16 1/3 innings of work. He is probably headed back to the bullpen as he only got the start on Sunday because Cincy needed an extra starter thanks to a doubleheader earlier in the week.
