4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle allowed three runs over seven innings in a 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. Mahle struck out three and walked two but did not factor in the decision. The young right-hander has been trending up for the Reds since rejoining the rotation, posting two straight quality starts while racking up 14 strikeouts. Mahle has a chance to stick in the rotation thanks to his recent strong pitching. He will face off against the Chicago Cubs in his next start.
