Tyler Mahle Bombed By Giants
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle was ripped by the San Francisco Giants in a 19-4 loss on Thursday. Mahle allowed seven runs over two innings of work while striking out two and walking two. It was a disappointing start for Mahle, who has been Cincinnati's most consistent starting pitcher in 2021. The poor outing drops Mahle's record to 2-2, to go along with a 4.20 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 54 strikeouts over 45 innings of work. He will look to get back on track next Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. Fantasy gamers can shake off Thursday's rough outing and go back to Mahle again for that start.
