7 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle earned his fourth win of the season Friday in a 7-2 game over the Padres. Mahle gave up no runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings. The performance was nice to see from the 23-year-old, who had turned in three consecutive four-run outings prior to this start. He is now 4-6 with a 4.38 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP in 63 2/3 innings pitched. Fantasy owners should only send Mahle out in favorable matchups until he proves he can succeed in tougher matchups.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
