6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle put forth a second straight strong performance in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Rockies. Mahle gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts in five innings. The game was not decided until the 13th inning, so Mahle took the no-decision. The 23-year-old has had an inconsistent season with a 4.33 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP but has shown that he can be effective when he can avoid giving up home runs. Mahle will look to make his third strong start in a row on Wednesday in a favorable matchup against the Royals.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
