3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle struggled in an 8-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. Mahle allowed six runs over 4 1/3 innings of work while striking out six and walking two. The veteran right-hander cruised through four scoreless innings before the Pirates hung a six-spot on him in the fifth, ending his night. Mahle finishes the 2021 season with a 13-6 record, 3.75 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 210 strikeouts over 180 innings of work. After his breakout campaign this year, Mahle should be a popular choice in 2022 fantasy drafts.--Matt T - RotoBaller
