Tyler Mahle's MRI Comes Back Clean
2 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Tyler Mahle's (shoulder) MRI results came back clean on Thursday after he left his start early on Wednesday with what the team is now describing as "general soreness and fatigue" in his right shoulder. Mahle will remain day-to-day, but it still remains unknown if he'll be able to make his next scheduled start. Since being acquired from the Cincinnati Reds at this summer's trade deadline, the 27-year-old has allowed four earned runs on eight hits while walking four and striking out 12 in 14 1/3 innings over just three starts. Mahle is 6-7 with a 4.17 ERA (3.77 FIP), a 1.19 WHIP and a 126:43 K:BB in 118 2/3 innings over his 22 starts this season.
